North of Guangzhou flows the Beijiang River, which later joins the Pearl River. Trips to places such as QingYuan are often organized from Shenzhen and Guangzhou. One of the main attractions are rafting and cruises on the Beijiang River. On board of old, worn-out ships you can admire the picturesque mountains and snack on delicacies such as mussels, shrimps, snails and fish.
